What Are Snap-In Dentures?

Snap-in dentures are a full set of teeth dentures that snap into place.  They are secured by dental implants.

These dentures are still removable for ease of cleaning.  They're a good middle of the road alternative to                           and a superior option than traditional dentures which can be uncomfortable and often require adhesive or glue to secure in place.

How Does It Work?

The first step to snap-in dentures is having a dentist place your dental implants.  Dr. Tyler Klein has placed thousands of dental implants, so rest assured, he has the experience and knowledge to do so for a long-lasting result.  Here at Renew Dental Arts we provide IV sedation so this fast, surgical procedure is something you won't have to worry about.  You are also numbed for the procedure so your discomfort will be minimal once the anesthesia wears off.
Once the implants are placed there is a period of time that is needed for healing.  During this time your bone will fuse or grow into your dental implants.  Once this has occurred we will begin to fabricate your snap-in dentures.  Rest assured, during this healing period you will still have teeth in the form of traditional dentures.

We go through a few steps to ensure your snap-in dentures fit and look perfect.  The final step is to place a nylon insert into the underside of the denture.  This insert can be changed out by your dentist to differing strength levels.  Typically you will be given the lightest strength to begin with so that you are able to learn how to remove your dentures before going to higher strength levels as desired.
